DRC CPD for Dental Technicians- Supervisory Skills

This programme introduces a range of first line management skills, career progression for DCPs frequently brings with it the need to take responsibility for the work of junior staff. In doing this you will call upon your hands-on experience gained from your day-to-day work. Hands-on experience is essential for success as a supervisor but in itself is not enough to ensure you can bring something of value to the supervisory role.

Aims and Objectives

Aims to:

1 Explore the supervisory role of senior dental technicians

2 Understand the importance of taking a structured approach to supervising staff

3 Recognise the effectiveness and efficiency of work carried out

4 Investigate key theories of quality management

Objectives, learners will be able to:

1 Effectively support the work of their staff

2 Use the Tactical Management Process to plan and organise work

3 Conduct a quality audit

4 Plan and implement quality systems


Course Fees

£50.00 ex. VAT

£58.75 inc. VAT

This package can be used for up to 10 DCPs working at the same Lab, over a 12month period. A £10.00 Assessment fee will be charged for subsequent learners

* VAT is charged at 17.5%. VAT was increased back to 17.5% on 1st Jan 2010
