This senior management qualification focuses on diagnostic and creative skills and aims to develop the ability to exercise appropriate judgement for planning and design processes. Level 5 managers are responsible for supervising the work of junior managers and accept responsibility for personal and group decisions with overall accountability for their designated area of management.
Participants are required to hold a level 4 management qualification and to have senior management work role. On completion of the on-line Phase 1 application, candidates will be sent the Phase 2 application form to confirm their eligibility for this course
Using a solution- focused approach, students will explore key management theories such as Total Quality Management, Tactical Management and Strategic Management Processes, Personnel management and customer care and theories. Learners will demonstrate application of theses techniques in the context of their own workplace and critically analyse results achieved. To gain these qualification candidates must pass all six units. Unit 1: Understanding your market and its customers Unit 2: Managing quality systems Unit 3: Financial management for dental services Unit 4: Continuous professional development for dental teams Unit 5: Managing employment law Unit 6: Health and safety law in the dental environment.
